Nuclear Resonant and Inelastic X-ray Scattering at High Pressures

Nuclear Resonant Scattering (NRS) and Inelastic X-ray Scattering (IXS) are powerful tools to study elementary excitations including spin, phonon, magnon, plasmon, and single particle-hole excitations in condensed matter at extreme conditions. Topics in this symposium include experimental techniques, theory related to NRS and IXS, and applications of NRS and IXS in various scientific disciplines. The scientific program will consist of keynote and invited talks, all scheduled with sufficient time for discussions. It will provide a forum for scientists to present new discoveries and research related to NRS and IXS, and opportunities to exchange information about the latest technical developments and applications.
