Hydrogen at Extreme Conditions
Hydrogen under extreme pressure conditions is one of the most exciting topic in the condense matter physics community. The pressure-induced metallization of hydrogen at zero temperature has been viewed as the Holy Grail in the field of high pressure science and technology since the prediction by Wigner and Huntington in 1935. This focus session will be dedicated to recent progresses on the research of hydrogen upon strong compression at low-temperature, including experimental results from world leading groups. This will be a great forum for scientists to present their cutting-edge experiments and major breakthroughs, and the scientific discussions are expected to be exciting. Please consider to submit your abstract to this focus session. We wish to see you all on-site in this forum.
