PURPOSE and OVERVIEW OF THE SCHOOL
The Joint AIRAPT-26th & ACHPR-8th & CHPC-19th Conference will organize a three-day Summer School prior to the International meeting. This summer school will provide students and newcomers with a good level of knowledge in the field of high pressure. This should help the participants to become familiar with other topics of this multidisciplinary field in an academic environment. Expected benefits are an increased participation and exchange of scientific ideas during the School and the Conference.
For many young researchers, this School will be a unique opportunity to review recent, ongoing and future activities through a series of thematic and overview lectures. Theoretical, experimental and application aspects of high pressure science and technology will be successively addressed. The attendees will acquire basic ideas about high pressure studies in different disciplines such as Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, Geophysics and Biosciences, and they will discover new hot topics.
Attendance certificates will be provided at the end of the school.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
In order to register at the HP Summer School, please go to Online Registration. This is a unique registration system for both Conference Registration and Summer School Registration even in the case you are not going to attend the Conference (you will be asked for the corresponding options). The registration is free, and covers school materials, and the lunches.
DATES
The HP summer school will start on Wedenesday afternoon (August, 16th) and will finish on Friday (August, 18th) after the sponsored lunch.
